అర్థము:
మంచి-చెడులు, సంపద ఉండడం-లేకపోవడం అనేవి కావడికి కట్టబడే రెండు కుండలవంటివి. కావడికి కట్టబడే రెండు కుండలూ సమానమైన బరువు కలిగి ఉంటేనే ఆ కావడి మోసే మనిషికి సౌకర్యంగా ఉంటుంది. లేకపోతే వెనుకకో, ముందుకో పడిపోతాడు. అలాగే మనిషి జీవితంలో మంచి-చెడు, సుఖం-కష్టం రెండూ ఉంటాయి. అపుడే మనిషికి మంచి విలువ, సుఖం విలువ తెలుస్తుంది.

Good - Bad, richness- poorness are two things which will be in balance in human life. Then only we will know the value of good and richness. "Kaavadi" means a strong wood stick which has two ends to bear the weight on a person's shoulder. It should be balanced with weight on both sides to make it comfortable to bear the weight for that person.
